Rock Painting

I like to do art. I like to paint on a lot of things including rocks.

Before painting, I find big flat-faced rocks because they are easier to color on. I get the rocks from our fire pit in the back yard. When I get them, they have to be washed off before being colored on or else the dirt will ruin the marker.

After the rocks are clean and dry I can start coloring them. I draw flowers on the rocks because they are simple to draw and can be many different colors. I use special acrylic markers because the Ink has a stronger pigment.

When I’m done coloring, I put the rocks back around the fire place for every one to see.
