The U.S.A.F. ( United States Air Force) has many small and large planes like the C-17 Globemaster and the F/A 18 Super Hornet:

Then there is the C-5 Super Galaxy, the Air Force’s largest plane:

It is so big that it can hold 5 helicopters, or two A1 Abrams tanks.
Like the C-17, the C-5 has the ability of aerial refueling, and it can land and takeoff in very short distances. To move cargo inside the aircraft, the nose and back loading ramps can open. When loading cargo inside the aircraft, the landing gear will squat down to lower the body to so that the ramp can touch the ground
Above the plane-length cargo deck is an upper deck for flight operations and for seating 80 passengers in rear facing seats. There are also two Galleys for long haul flights. There is a lot of extra room above the tail section, called the hayloft, which has a ladder going all the way to the top of the tail.
