This book report is about a book called the Railway Children. The Arthur of this book is E. Nesbit. This book takes place in the era of the steam engines.
In this book the three main characters are: Roberta [or Bobbie], Phillys , and Peter. They are young siblings. At the start of the story they lived in London but then their Father got taken away. They became poor after that and had to move to a cheaper house called Three Chimneys in the country side. Every day they would go down to the Railway that was by their house and meet with the station master, Perks. They went on adventures and one time saved a train.
My favorite part about the book is how they saved the train from crashing using there petticoats as flags to make the train stop.
